Kirkstall Matters
Kirkstall Matters is the magazine of the Kirkstall Valley Community Association. It is published 3 times per year and is entirely produced by volunteers and distributed to members of the KVCA within Kirkstall. It first started in Autumn 1978 and has seen many changes over the years - have a look at our recent issues on the right!
Production
We produce 1000 copies and as these can be read by 2-3 people we estimate that the circulation is around 2500. Articles, readers’ letters, poems etc. are welcome. Our preferred format is plain text with separate high resolution images but we can accept other formats. Ideally please email your file as an attachment to the editor or deliver it on disk to our postal address. If you can’t provide your article in electronic form, you can give us it typed or handwritten.
The schedule for the magazine is as follows:
Spring – Copy due by 1st February – Magazine released mid-February
Summer – Copy due by 1st June – Magazine released mid-June
Autumn/Winter – Copy due by 1st October – Magazine released mid-October
How to get your copy
The quickest and easiest way to get the magazine is to join the KVCA and you will have the magazine delivered through your door three times a year! The magazine is also kindly sold through the following stockists and is still only £1!

To help fund production of the magazine many local businesses kindly advertise with us. If you wish to take out an advert, please contact the editor. Invoicing is done annually for the number of issues remaining for that calendar year - adverts are available in three sizes:
Full page – 297mm(h) x 210mm(w) – £40 per issue
Half page – 130mm(h) x 190mm(w) – £20 per issue
Quarter page portrait – 90mm(h) x 130mm(w) – £10 per issue
